come on, i'm sure you know can't get you outta my head, i've always liked that song and i knew that kylie minogue was pretty famous around the ~gays but i never listened to any of her albums until she released golden in 2018, i thought it was cool and all but country is not really my cup of tea, i really don't remember why but in the new year's eve of 2019 to 2020 i really wanted to listen to 'in your eyes', i was at my friend's house and i put on the tv, and suddenly i felt the need to listen to all her songs, when i came back home i listened to fever on loop for days and days, eventually i listened to all her albums and i can totally say she's my best 'discovery' this year, so many great songs, so many amazing concerts and a personality of an angel, she's so sweet and caring, not to count the release of 'disco', that became one of my favorite records of the year, love her very much for that.

♥ favorite live performances

♥ come into my world - fever tour
the performance speaks for itself to be honest, the intro is extremely iconic and well thought, the cyber aesthetic that is so trendy in 2020 is so visible in this, i love the green pieces on the suit and the amazing work of the dancers.
♥ can't get you outta my head (blue monday mashup) - britawards 2002
blue monday is probably one of my all-time favorite songs, so this is basically a recipy of how to make me freak out, the mashup is BRILLIANT, the two songs work so well together, and kylie's vocals in here are amazing, you can clearly tell she's having fun and being the sexier then she ever was.
♥ dancing queen (abba cover) - intimate and live tour
super energetic and fun, i feel so happy watching this, i mean, it's abba so...
♥ cowboy style - intimate and live tour
for the love of god this is so underrated, her indie era was soooooo good, the outfit is great and her vocals are soooo good in this, and that break dance.. goosebumps.
♥ all the lovers - aphrodite tour
i could put every performance from the aphrodite tour in here but i chose my favorite one, the production is so over the top and everything makes the aphrodite concept stand out sooo much, everytime the chorus hits and the dancers go up i get so emotional i don't know why.
♥ in your eyes - showgirl homecoming tour
she's an icon, she's a legend and she IS the moment.. i mean come on now.

i discovered kate bush in the beggining of 2018, i don't remember why but since i was really into bjork at the time i wanted to know who she was and why she inspired bjork so much, i discovered wuthering heights and my parents were like oh we know that song, the first album i heard was the kick inside, at the time my english was not as good as it is now (and it's not that good) so i didn't really paid attention to her lyrics, i liked her albums and stuff but i didn't felt the same connection as i felt with other artists for example, but i always saw people talking about her lyrics so i decided to give another try while reading her lyrics and oh my god, it was love at second sight, it always has this distinctive characteristic, and a history behind, one of my favorite lyrics is from 'get out of my house'

ₓ˚. ୭ ˚○◦˚ cocteau twins ˚◦○˚ ୧ .˚ₓ
favorite album: treasure, heaven or las vegas.
favorite songs: i wear your ring, beatrix, serpentskirt.
~~

i discovered cocteau twins when i was in a my bloody valentine phase and i wanted to find other bands with this ~ethereal~ sound, it's not shoegaze but i found cocteau twins, i got so obsessed with them that the music i entered in my high school graduation was 'i wear your ring' on minute 2:30 and i don't regret at all lol.

ₓ˚. ୭ ˚○◦˚ mitski ˚◦○˚ ୧ .˚ₓ
favorite album: bury me at makeout creek, be the cowboy.
favorite songs: geyser, drunk walk home.

the first time i listened to her music was when she released be the cowboy and everyone was talking about, so i listened to the album and fell in love, i can feel her pain so clearly and i can relate so much to the lyrics too (wow that's literally me), the screams part in drunk walk home literally takes my heart out of my body and throws it in the garbage, and that's why i love her so much.

ₓ˚. ୭ ˚○◦˚ britney spears ˚◦○˚ ୧ .˚ₓ
favorite album: blackout, femme fatale.

what a legend, right? i've known her my whole life but it was only this year that i got into her discography and understood everything that happened to her, she's such an icon and an inspiration, i remember loving her songs and pretendind i didn't cause i was too ashamed to admit it, and i think a lot of queer people can relate to that #freebritney
